27mm torsion bars for Alfetta, Giulietta and GTV6 to mid ’85. Works best w/ uprated shocks such as Koni Sport or Bilstein. Typical matching rear springs are DDLR-GT or DDLR-B. In their stock configuration, Alfa Romeo’s deDion chassis cars are fairly softly sprung. This allows a substantial amount of body roll and lowers ultimate cornering potential. Performance can be significantly increased by increasing spring rates. Over time, torsion bars with with diameters of about 27mm have been found to offer excellent cornering and still maintain a comfortable ride. These bars are 27.3mm in diameter and approximately 30″ long.
